Community Engagement Subcommittee: Catherine Lederer-Plaskett and Sheryl Rosenberg, Co-Chairs
This new subcommittee is focused on reaching and mobilizing the many Democrats in Greenburgh who have not yet been involved in local organizing. The group will work on outreach strategies, answer questions from interested residents, and find creative ways to bring more people into our movement.
Fundraising Subcommittee – Dylan Pyne, Chair
This group organizes our annual fundraising event and any other fundraising activities throughout the year. They assist in working with the venue, securing gifts for our honorees, coordinating speakers and emcees, and managing other details to ensure a fun and successful event.
Law Subcommittee – Mark Lafayette, Chair
This is for those interested in our courts. It’s important to have both lawyers and non-lawyers involved. Members have interviewed candidates for Town, Family, County, and Supreme Court and provided reports to the Executive Committee prior to our conventions.
Social Action Subcommittee – Lemuel Davis, Chair
This subcommittee brings the values of the Democratic Party into action. Members have organized opportunities to assist those in our Greenburgh community who are struggling and in need. So far, the group has completed one or two projects each year.
