Greenburgh Democratic Town Committee Announces Endorsed Slate for 2026 Elections
(GREENBURGH, NY) — The Greenburgh Democratic Town Committee has endorsed its slate of candidates for the 2026 election cycle, signaling strong unity as Democrats prepare for the June Primary and November General Election.
Leading the ticket is Ardsley Trustee Barry McGoey, who earned the Committee’s endorsement for Town Supervisor with more than 83% of the vote. McGoey heads a slate that reflects broad support across the Greenburgh Democratic organization.
Also endorsed unanimously by the Committee for re-election are Town Justice Amy Foote and Town Clerk Lisa Maria Nero.
Committee Chair Steve Bass underscored the strength of the slate and the confidence committee members have in the candidates.
“The Greenburgh Democratic Town Committee is proud to support this outstanding team of candidates,” said Bass. “With Greenburgh’s financial mismanagement, increasing taxes, and crumbling infrastructure the people are in need of new leadership. Barry has the experience necessary to deliver the change the public needs.”
Barry McGoey expressed appreciation for the broad support and outlined his priorities for the town.
“I’m deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Greenburgh Democratic Town Committee,” said McGoey. “Tonight, the Greenburgh Democratic Committee members agreed that our neighbors are in need of a fresh pair of eyes to solve the serious problems we are facing and to ensure Greenburgh is a great place to live. Our campaign will address the need for fiscal responsibility, and create modern solutions to strengthen our neighborhoods. Over the next few months, I look forward to hearing from voters and presenting my plan on the best way to move Greenburgh forward.”
The endorsed candidates now turn their focus to building support ahead of the June 23 Primary and the November 3 General Election, united in their commitment to delivering responsible and effective leadership for the Town of Greenburgh.
