Meet the 2026 Greenburgh Democratic Town Committee Endorsed Slate

Barry McGoey for Greenburgh Town Supervisor

Currently an elected Ardsley Village Trustee, Barry McGoey is a practicing attorney with more than 30 years in government and public service. McGoey has worked as a New York State Court Officer, Yonkers firefighter, and president of the Yonkers Firefighters IAFF Local 628, with prior professional experience as an internal auditor. McGoey earned his JD, from Pace University Law School; BBA in Accounting and Finance from Iona University; and a Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Leadership from Cornell University. He won the endorsement of the Greenburgh Democratic Town Committee with more than 82% of the vote.

Lisa Maria Nero for Greenburgh Town Clerk

As Greenburgh Town Clerk since January 2024, Lisa Maria Nero has delivered on her promise to bring Town Board minutes and record-keeping up to date, punctually administer FOIL requests and other time-sensitive duties, and always deliver service professionally and with a smile. Before to her election as Clerk, Nero worked for nearly 20 years in workers’ compensation administration. Nero holds a Doctorate of Education and Master of Public Administration from Long Island University.

Amy Foote for Greenburgh Town Justice

Currently serving as one of three justices on the Greenburgh Town Court, Judge Amy Foote brings more than 25 years of legal, regulatory, compliance, and investigative experience to the bench. As an attorney, Foote successfully defended clients in criminal and civil matters; advised and served as an independent monitor for public and private sector clients; and served as a prosecutor in the New York County District Attorney’s Office under the Hon. Robert M. Morgenthau. Judge Foote earned her JD at the Georgetown University Law Center.
